LC Corporate Strategies strengthens team

LC Corporate Strategies, the turnaround arm of national corporate recovery firm Leonard Curtis, has appointed Donna Neilson as Turnaround Associate, to be based in the Manchester office.

An economics graduate from the University of Manchester, Donna was previously a Private Client Assistant with Brown Shipley & Co, prior to joining LC Corporate Strategies. Commenting on her appointment, she says: "After completing the SII Certificate in Investment Management I wish to begin studying towards the ACA and wanted to be a part of a hands-on turnaround team to support my learning. In today's climate turnaround services are in high demand and I am keen to apply my academic insight to real life business situations".

"I will primarily be supporting the LC Corporate Strategies team in analysing the root causes of struggling businesses and identifying where a turnaround strategy can be applied to help stabilise the company. I will also be negotiating with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of companies which, though viable businesses, have incurred significant VAT and PAYE arrears, to arrange time-to-pay agreements as a part of a financial restructure."
